Mark Layton
Yes, Gordon is accurate that 1252 has a thin-finned Savage barrel. I have a Colt barrel for it, but I have been in no hurry to swap it out.

full auto 45
Nope. Just wondering how low some of the registered numbers were. All I have seen were in the 100000+ range for the M1's and in the 20000+ for the WWII era guns. The 21's I lnew of a couple low numbers, but not many. Norm
Z3, When I bought the firing pin, I wanted number 004 because that has always been my lucky number. Mike Hammer
I know of a fellow who rarely visits this board and I'm sure he would not post the numbers of his guns here and will probably not see this thread but I can tell you that he owns 10 Colt Thompsons, three of them have serial numbers under 100, and two of them are consecutive numbered. So he may be the winner in this contest! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif Mike Hammer
Arthur Fliegenheimer
Considering the records of the where abouts of the first 100 Colt TSMG's are very well documented, this hoarder's identity is not a well kept secret. Warren Kreiser seems to be the only known owner of three (3) Colt TSMG's with serial numbers below 100 and with consecutive #95 and #96.
